The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe (Obaa Nana), has extended her New Year greetings to the people of Amenfi Central and reaffirmed her commitment to promoting development, unity, and economic growth within the constituency.
In her 2026 Development and National Policy Message, the legislator expressed gratitude to Almighty God for life, stability, and progress despite the current economic and social challenges facing the nation. She commended the resilience of the people of Amenfi Central and called for collective effort towards achieving sustainable development.
“As we enter 2026, I give thanks to Almighty God for life, stability, and direction. Despite economic pressures and social challenges, our collective resilience has sustained us. With unity of purpose and disciplined leadership, I am confident that 2026 will be a year of consolidation, progress, and expanded opportunity for Amenfi Central,” she stated.
Joana Cudjoe, who is also a successful entrepreneur, said her approach to development integrates both policy and practical experience. She emphasized her focus on key national objectives such as job creation, private sector growth, youth empowerment, infrastructure development, and inclusive economic expansion.
She underscored her commitment to working with institutions and stakeholders to translate national policies into tangible results for her constituents.
Highlighting the importance of the youth, the MP described them as the backbone of the nation and pledged to continue championing programs in skills development, entrepreneurship, and leadership. She encouraged young people in Amenfi Central to actively engage in community development and governance to shape a better future.
“I also urge citizens to continue supporting the National Democratic Congress (NDC), a party committed to social justice, inclusive growth, and people-centered policy,” she added.
