The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Aowin, Mr. Stephen Morcher, has revealed that he made history by becoming the first nominee in the municipality to receive a 100% endorsement from the assembly memebers during his appointment.
Speaking in a live interview on Green Gold TV, Mr. Morcher noted that no previous MCE in Aowin has ever secured unanimous approval from the assembly members. He described this milestone as a strong vote of confidence and a clear indication of the love and support the people of Aowin have for him.
Mr. Morcher also disclosed that he is the youngest individual to serve as MCE for the Aowin Municipality since the inception of the Fourth Republic. According to him, his appointment marks a turning point and presents a unique opportunity for young people to prove their leadership capabilities.
“I see myself as an open door for the youth,” he said. “This is not just my achievement; it is for all young people in Aowin. I have no excuse to fail. I must deliver and set a good example for the youth.”
He stressed that his success or failure would reflect on the youth of the municipality, adding that he is determined to protect and honor the opportunity given to him.
Mr. Morcher called on the youth and the entire community to rally behind him to ensure the progress and development of the Aowin Municipality.
“This is our chance,” he concluded. “Let’s work together to build a better Aowin for all.”
