Prophet Yaw Isaac Mensah, founder of the Fire Trinity Ministry in Kumasi, has made a bold prophecy concerning Ghana’s political future, declaring that Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong will emerge as President of Ghana from 2028 to 2032.
Speaking in an interview with Big Joe Marfo on Oman Ghana TV, the prophet claimed that divine revelation showed him Kennedy Agyapong has already been chosen in the spiritual realm to lead both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the nation.
According to Prophet Mensah, the NPP’s flagbearer position has already been spiritually decided in Agyapong’s favour ahead of the party’s primaries scheduled for February.
He asserted that Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has “no chance” of winning any general election in Ghana, emphasizing that the spiritual authorities and ancestors of the NPP have chosen Kennedy Agyapong.
“The ancestors and spirits of the NPP have already chosen Kennedy Agyapong as the party’s leader,” Prophet Mensah said. “In the spiritual realm, God has already chosen him to be President of Ghana from 2028, 2032, and beyond.”
He further cautioned party leadership and delegates against backing Dr Bawumia, insisting that doing so would be a waste of time.
“There is no way Bawumia can become President of Ghana, even if delegates vote for him in the primaries,” the prophet stated. “Delegates should not waste their time on him because he has no chance of winning a general election for the NPP.”
Prophet Mensah’s remarks have since stirred reactions among political observers and party faithful, sparking renewed debate over who might succeed President Nana Akufo-Addo as the NPP’s next leader.
