The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Sefwi Bodi has urged the Christian community in the Bodi District to prioritize development and the welfare of the people.
He said the government alone cannot undertake all developmental projects in the country, and therefore, religious bodies must also contribute to improving the communities in which they operate.
Speaking on behalf of the DCE, Vicente Amoah, the Assembly Member for the Ahibenso Electoral Area, made this call during the 70th birthday celebration of Most Rev. Kwaku Addae at the Trinity Harris Worship Centre in Ahibenso on Sunday, 22nd February 2026.
He commended churches that are investing in education and health facilities to support the country’s development agenda. He also praised the Harris Church for its continuous spiritual growth and its role in shaping the community positively.
Mr. Amoah, further encouraged Christians to remain united and continue praying for the district, the nation, and the President for strength and wisdom to do more for the country.
He took the opportunity to wish Most Rev. Kwaku Addae a happy 70th birthday and asked for God’s blessings upon his life.
Bishop Yaw Asare, the Bishop of the Ahibenso Trinity Harris Church, also advised the youth to stay away from drugs, warning that drug abuse destroys the future. He emphasized that the youth are the future leaders of the country and must take their education, work, or apprenticeship seriously to build a better future.
Most Rev. Kwaku Addae, Director of Prophetic Affairs of the Trinity Harris Worship Centre, expressed gratitude to God for his life. He advised the youth to be disciplined and obedient to their parents, noting that it was discipline and obedience—not merely being a pastor—that has brought him this far in life.
He encouraged the youth to be hardworking, seek God’s blessings, and remain faithful, assuring them that such virtues will lead to prosperity.
