It has been about two weeks since the Western North Journalists Association announced the tragic death of our colleague, Mr. Isaac Bona, popularly known in the media space as Bona Ray. He was a morning show host at Max FM, a local radio station at Enchi.
Mr. Bona sadly lost his life in a fatal accident that occurred at Kojokrom, sub of Takoradi. The incident involved a timber truck loaded with logs, which reportedly ran over him, leading to his untimely death.
Following the accident, the body was taken to the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital mortuary in Takoradi for police investigations. After the necessary examinations, the police released the body to the family yesterday.
The family has since transported the body to the Agyapa Funeral Home mortuary in Enchi for preservation as preparations for his final rites continue.
Mr. Isaac Bona was not only a respected radio presenter but also the Regional Football Association Chairman for the Aowin Municipality (Enchi) and a businessman. He was known for his calm demeanor, dedication, and hard work until his untimely passing.
