On this special occasion of Father’s Day, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt appreciation to all fathers across Sefwi Boinzan, the Western North Region, and Ghana at large.
Today, we celebrate the men who have taken up the noble mantle of fatherhood — not just by blood, but through responsibility, love, and sacrifice. A father is a pillar of strength, wisdom, and protection. In our communities, especially here in Sefwi, fathers are not only providers but mentors, guardians of our traditions, and key contributors to the growth and stability of our families.
As we honour fathers today, let us also remember those who serve as father figures — grandfathers, uncles, teachers, community elders, and leaders — whose influence helps shape our youth and uphold the values that bind us as a people.
To all fathers: your efforts do not go unnoticed. Your sacrifices, though often silent, are the foundations on which generations are built. May the Almighty continue to bless you with wisdom, good health, and strength as you lead your families and communities with honour.
Let this day remind us all of the importance of love, responsibility, and unity within the home. May we raise sons who are responsible, and daughters who are strong, with fathers standing proudly as examples.
