In alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6), which advocates for universal access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene by 2030, a joint community clean-up exercise was organized in the Nsawora Edumafua township and at the Nsawora Edumafua Health Center. The initiative saw active participation from the Member of Parliament, the District Chief Executive (DCE), and the Nsawora Edumafua All Force Group.
The collaborative effort aimed to promote cleanliness and raise awareness about the importance of a hygienic environment in preventing the spread of communicable diseases and deterring harmful terrestrial and arboreal organisms. As the saying goes, “Cleanliness is next to godliness.” It is, therefore, our collective duty to maintain a clean and safe environment for the well-being of all.
Following the exercise, the District Chief Executive, Mr.Joseph Appiah, expressed his profound gratitude to all participants. He reaffirmed the Member of Parliament’s commitment to upgrading the Nsawora Edumafua Health Center to the status of a polyclinic. Hon. Appiah also issued a strong caution to individuals encroaching on the health center’s land, urging them to desist from such activities to allow for future generations.
