Deputy MD of Ghana Post Supports Widows and Orphans in Bibiani-Ahwiaso-Bekwai

The Deputy Managing Director of Ghana Post, Lawyer Kingsley Bennie, has extended a helping hand to widows, widowers, and orphans in the Bibiani-Ahwiaso-Bekwai Municipality.

As part of his annual humanitarian gesture, Lawyer Bennie made a generous donation of food items and cash to support the vulnerable in the community. The items included bags of rice, cooking oil, mackerel, and sardines, aimed at bringing joy and relief to beneficiaries as they begin the new year.

The donation took place on January 3, 2026. Speaking on behalf of Lawyer Bennie at the event, Mr. Yaw Mafor said the Deputy Managing Director remains deeply committed to improving the lives of people in the municipality.

According to him, Lawyer Bennie believes it is his duty to support widows and orphans, especially those who have nowhere to turn for help. “This is the time to show love and care to the less privileged, particularly widows and orphans who need our attention,” he added.

In addition to the donation, Lawyer Bennie also extended financial support to executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the municipality, emphasizing the importance of unity and strength within the party.

Mr. Mafor noted that this is not the first time Lawyer Bennie has shown such generosity. Over the years, he has paid school fees for needy students and supported various vulnerable groups in the Bibiani-Ahwiaso-Bekwai area.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Lawyer Bennie, saying his support has given them renewed hope for the new year. “We had no hope for this season, but his kindness has brought us joy,” one of the beneficiaries said.
