Sad news has hit the Deputy Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, who is also the Member of Parliament for the Sefwi Bodi Constituency, Hon. Sampson Ahi, following the passing of his beloved mother.
The heartbreaking news was reported on the evening of Thursday, August 7, 2025.
According to sources, the late mother of the Deputy Minister fell ill briefly and was rushed to the Juaboso Government Hospital for medical treatment. Sadly, she could not survive.
Sampson Ahi previously served as the Member of Parliament for the Juaboso Constituency from 2004 to 2012. Following the creation of the Sefwi Bodi Constituency, he contested and won the seat and has been representing the area since. He currently serves as the Deputy Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry.
He is yet to officially announced the passing of his mother.
