Eric Opoku, Member of Parliament and former Minister for Food and Agriculture, has participated in the US-Ghana Investor Forum held in Pennsylvania, a high-profile event dedicated to promoting agricultural growth and investment in Ghana.
Speaking at the forum, Eric Opoku underscored the vast opportunities within Ghana’s agricultural sector and reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to building a conducive environment for investors. He emphasized that various incentives have been implemented to reduce risks and increase the appeal of agricultural ventures across the country.

He also highlighted Ghana’s strategic location within West Africa, describing the nation’s stable political and economic environment as fertile ground for business expansion and value chain development. According to him, Ghana remains a reliable partner for investors seeking sustainable and mutually beneficial growth.
Opoku urged investors to channel their financial resources, technology, and expertise into the Ghanaian economy, stressing that such collaborations would accelerate national development while delivering strong returns for partners.

Concluding his address, he reaffirmed that Ghana, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, is focused on forging strategic partnerships especially in agriculture rather than depending solely on foreign aid.
The US-Ghana Investor Forum brought together key policymakers, business leaders, and development partners to explore investment opportunities and strengthen economic cooperation between the two nations.
