The family of Esther Mbeah Gyamfi, wife of the late journalist Bona Ray, has arrived to pay their last respects to their cherished in-law and husband.
According to the family AbusuapaninJoseph Yaw , Bona Ray had told them he was heading home and promised to return soon. Tragically, just a week after marrying their daughter, the family received the heartbreaking news that their in-law had been involved in a fatal accident and had not survived.
The news came as a devastating shock, as they had no reason to believe such a tragedy could befall someone they held in such high regard.
They are now in Enchi to witness the final moments and confirm the painful reality for themselves. The family expressed their deep sorrow and emphasized that they are present to honor and say goodbye to their beloved in-law and husband.
Isaac Bonah, popularly known as Bona Ray, was a well-respected morning show host at Max FM in Enchi. He tragically lost his life in a road accident at Takoradi Kojokrom on 6th June 2025.
Today has been set aside for families, friends, and loved ones to pay their final respects to the late broadcaster.
