The Paramount Chief of the Aowin Traditional Council, Beyeeman Tano Kwao Benbuin, has called on the youth of Aowin to take pride in their heritage and identity.

Addressing a gathering at the palace, the Omanhene expressed concern that some young people feel reluctant to associate themselves with Aowin due to negative perceptions and reports about the area. He emphasized that such narratives should not define the image of the land.

According to him, Aowin of which Enchi serves as the capital compares favorably with many parts of the country and possesses significant potential for growth and development.

He urged the youth not to feel ashamed of their roots but rather to uphold and protect the good name of Aowin. He stressed that the responsibility of reshaping the narrative lies largely with the younger generation.
The remarks were made during a meeting attended by youth groups, led by the Mbrantehene of Aowin, aimed at discussing strategies for the development and progress of the area.
