Fire Destroys Properties at Juaboso Market

A devastating fire outbreak has destroyed several properties at the Juaboso Market in the Western North Region. The incident, which occurred earlier today, reduced five stores to ashes.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire started in one of the shops before spreading rapidly to nearby stores due to the close arrangement of structures and the presence of flammable materials.

The affected stores, according to reports, belonged to fashion designers, hairstylists, and dealers in second-hand goods. All items in the shops were completely destroyed by the blaze.

Though the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, officers from the Ghana National Fire Service at Juaboso are yet commenced investigations. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.

Shop owners and traders at the market have appealed for support from the district assembly and other benevolent organizations as they count their losses.
