The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai, Mr. Sebastian Obeng, and the MCE for Sefwi Wiawso, Mr. Gyasi Dominic, have expressed heartfelt gratitude to the NDC Teachers Forum in the Western North Region for the pivotal role it played in their nominations and eventual appointments.At a recent gathering, both MCEs recognized the instrumental contribution of the Forum in advocating for their selection.
According to them, during crucial stages of the appointment process, it was the Teachers Forum that stood firmly behind them and recommended them to the top hierarchy of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which had a significant impact on the final decision.As former educators and active members of the Forum, Mr. Obeng and Mr. Dominic commended the leadership of the association for its unity and commitment.

They pledged their continued support and encouraged current members to remain engaged and take pride in their affiliation with the group.“The Teachers Forum has become a strong pillar within the NDC. Members should not underestimate their influence. Stay involved, and you too may be called to serve in greater capacity,” they said.

The NDC Teachers Forum was established to bring together teachers who are aligned with the values and vision of the NDC. Its aim is to create a strong, organized body of educators to support the party’s initiatives. The Forum played a crucial role in the NDC’s success during the 2024 elections, with several members serving as polling agents and field operatives.Their dedication and collective effort contributed significantly to the party’s electoral victory and the subsequent elevation of members such as Mr. Obeng and Mr. Dominic to leadership positions.
