I will criticize Mahama, But Not Now, NPP MP

The Member of Parliament for the Suaman in Constituency in the ticket of New Patriotic Party (NPP)in the Western North Region, Frederick Addy, has stated that this is not the time for him to criticize the NDC or the administration of President John Mahama.

According to him, before he can offer any criticism, the government must first be given some time to operate. He noted that he can see the President is doing his best for Ghanaians. Although he is an opposition MP, he will commend the government when it performs well.

He stressed that the president should be given at least two years in office before an honest assessment can be made. “We should commend leaders when they are doing good things,” he said.

He added that he has promised not to utter any negative remarks against John Mahama’s government for now. However, if over time he observes poor performance, he will not hesitate to criticize.
The MP also emphasized that he and the District Chief Executive, Vasco Obour, are committed to serving the people of Suaman, and they cannot afford to disappoint them. He called on everyone to support efforts to make Suaman a better place.

Mr. Addy made these remarks on Friday, 5th December, during the 41st Farmers’ Day celebration at Antokrom in the Suaman District.
