The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Juaboso, Alexander Adu Quist, has disclosed that he is currently leading a 2.3-kilometre road reshaping project along the Ataakrom–Amankwahkrom–Kwame Baa stretch in the Juaboso District.

According to Mr. Quist, the initiative is part of his continuous commitment to improving road accessibility, enhancing mobility, and boosting socio-economic activities for residents—particularly farmers, traders, and commuters who rely heavily on the corridor.
He explained that the intervention was undertaken following the directive of the Member of Parliament for Juaboso and Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, in response to the deteriorating condition of the road.

While awaiting official funding to comprehensively address the issue, Mr. Quist emphasized that it was necessary to take immediate action. He clarified that the project is not financed through the District Assembly’s Common Fund nor its Internally Generated Fund (IGF), but rather through personal funding, with support from friends and well-wishers.
“This is driven purely by a sense of duty and commitment to the immediate needs of our communities,” he stated.
The DCE noted that the reshaping exercise will significantly ease transportation challenges, improve safety, and facilitate the smooth movement of goods and services within the area.

He reaffirmed his dedication to pursuing practical, timely, and impactful interventions that directly enhance the quality of life of residents across the Juaboso District.
“Together, we will continue to build a more connected, resilient, and prosperous Juaboso,” he assured.
