The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Juaboso, Alexander Adu Quist, has undertaken an inspection tour of six ongoing project sites within the district as part of efforts to ensure quality and timely delivery of development initiatives.

The projects, which are being funded through the District Assembly’s share of the Common Fund, include the construction of CHPS compounds at Frantraline, Asoredanho, and Adwumam, a six-unit classroom block at Sayerano, and a kindergarten (KG) block at Breaman.
Speaking during the inspection, Mr. Adu Quist stated that it is his responsibility as DCE to regularly monitor projects to assess the quality of work being carried out by contractors. He noted that the exercise also allows the Assembly to identify and correct any defects before project completion.

He disclosed that some of the CHPS compounds, particularly those at Adwumam and Frantraline, are being constructed with accommodation facilities for nurses to improve healthcare delivery in the communities.
According to him, work on the various sites is progressing steadily. He explained that all the projects have a six-month completion period, with contractors currently at different stages some having spent three, four, or five months on site depending on their start dates.

Mr. Adu Quist expressed confidence that while some contractors are on track to meet their deadlines, others have been advised to accelerate work to ensure timely completion.
He assured that the District Assembly will continue to closely monitor all contractors until the projects are completed, adding that the government remains committed to advancing development in the district. He further hinted that additional projects are expected to commence upon the release of the third quarter of the Common Fund.
