Juaboso DCE Issues Public Disclaimer on Recruitment Scam

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Juaboso, Alexander Adu-Quist, has cautioned the public against falling victim to fraudsters using his name and image to extort money under the guise of offering recruitment opportunities into Ghana’s security services.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the DCE described the perpetrators as “unscrupulous persons” who are deceiving unsuspecting individuals with promises of guaranteed enlistment into the police, military, and other security agencies in exchange for cash.

Adu-Quist categorically denied any involvement in such activities, stressing that he has not authorized any individual or group to solicit money on his behalf. He emphasized that recruitment into the security services is conducted strictly through official government channels.

“Any person who pays money to such fraudsters does so at his or her own risk,” the DCE warned.

He further urged members of the public to disregard such fraudulent messages and to promptly report any encounters with these scammers to the nearest police station for the necessary action.

The Juaboso DCE reaffirmed his commitment to transparency, accountability, and the welfare of the people, assuring residents that his office will continue to serve with integrity.
