The KAAF Foundation has officially inaugurated the September cohort of its Founder’s Scholarship, welcoming more than 80 outstanding indigenous students from Sefwi and the Western North Region into the KAAF family. The ceremony, presided over by Mr. Michael Aidoo, marked a significant step from “announcement to action” as the foundation continues to empower brilliant but needy students.
In his address, Mr. Aidoo described the initiative as deeply personal, emphasizing that it represents a covenant fulfilled rather than just a scholarship. “We are actively shaping the next generation of leaders right here, from Western North Ghana,” he said.

Key highlights of the September cohort include:
100% Tuition Coverage: A full academic investment in the beneficiaries’ futures.
Diverse Futures: Students pursuing degrees in critical fields such as Engineering, Law, Nursing, and Finance.
Sustained Commitment: This third cohort for the academic year reinforces the foundation’s unwavering pledge to the region’s development.
Mr. Aidoo noted that the scholarship is designed not only to provide financial support but also to inspire excellence and create opportunities for students from underserved communities. “The books, the pens, the classrooms — these are the seeds of transformation. This initiative is about giving our youth the tools to write their own story of possibility,” he added.

The scholarship programme, now in its third phase for 2025, has already impacted hundreds of young people across the Western North Region. Parents, traditional leaders, and education stakeholders present at the ceremony commended Mr. Aidoo for his vision and commitment to human capital development.
They further urged the beneficiaries to embrace the opportunity with discipline and determination, stressing that the region’s future progress depends on the success of its young leaders.

The event concluded with renewed pledges from the KAAF Foundation to continue scaling up its investment in education, ensuring that more students from Sefwi and beyond gain access to higher learning and skills for national development.
