KWESIKROM RESIDENTS APPEAL TO GOVERNMENT FOR SOCIAL AMENITIES

Residents of Kwesikrom, a farming community in the Bodi District of the Western North Region, have expressed their frustration over the lack of essential social amenities, which they say is making life unbearable.

The residents highlighted the absence of basic facilities such as educational infrastructure, Modernized Nurses quaters, Market facility and good roads.
They lamented that the limited amenities available are deteriorating, further worsening their living conditions.
Residents appealed to the government and private entities to step in and provide the necessary social amenities to improve their quality of life.

The Abakomahene of the area, Nana kwasi Amanor emphasized the urgent need for interventions to address the challenges faced by the residents.

According to him, ever since their member of parliament, Hon. Sampson Ahi brought mechanized borehole, there hasn’t been any expansion that would allow them to get access to tap the water into their various households.

He added that, they need electricity extension in the new sites to prevent crimes and protect lives and properties in the area.

Nana Kwasi Amanor also called on the district assembly and stakeholders to take immediate action to alleviate the hardships in the area.
