A man believed to be in his late 50s has collapsed and died at a public toilet in Juaboso in the Western North Region.
The incident, which occurred on Thursday afternoon, sent shockwaves through residents and users of the facility, who rushed to the scene after noticing the man had slumped and was unresponsive.
He was later found dead, prompting the intervention of the police. The body has since been conveyed to the Juaboso Government Hospital mortuary, where it has been deposited pending further investigation.
The Juaboso District Police say efforts are underway to identify the deceased’s family. An investigation has also been launched to establish the cause of death.
