The Manpiobo Town Park in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region is almost ready to host football matches as construction reaches 95 percent completion.
The facility, initiated and funded by the Member of Parliament for Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, began in 2023 with the aim of promoting sports development and nurturing football talent within the district.
The park boasts modern features including three dressing rooms for the home team, away team, and referees, a camera stand, technical bench, and a secure fence to ensure player safety.
Named in honour of the MP’s father, the Manpiobo Town Park stands as a major sporting investment for the people of Juaboso. Excitement is high among residents who are eager to see the facility officially opened for use.
Once completed, the park is expected to serve as the home venue for Sefwi All Stars, the only Division One football club in the Western North Region.
