The Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) is set to open a new office in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region. This announcement was made following a visit by the Chief Executive Officer of MASLOC, Madam Abigail Akwambea Elorm Mensah, as part of her nationwide tour to assess MASLOC facilities and operations.Currently, MASLOC operates only one office in the Western North Region, which has posed challenges in delivering efficient services to residents.
During her visit to Juaboso, Madam Abigail Akwambea Elorm Mensah recognized the strategic importance of the area, noting that a new office there would serve not only Juaboso but also nearby districts such as Aowin, Suaman, and Bodi.In light of this, she pledged to establish a MASLOC office in Juaboso and called on the District Assembly to assist in securing a suitable location for the office.
The District Chief Executive for Juaboso, Mr. Adu Quist Alexander, expressed his appreciation for the initiative and assured Madam Mensah of his full support. He revealed that the Assembly had already identified a place that could be used as the new MASLOC office and promised to work closely with the organization to ensure the project becomes a reality.
