Moses Armah Foundation and Efrizaik AI Empower Students with AI and Robotics Training

In a transformative step towards future-proofing education in Ghana, the Moses Armah Foundation, in collaboration with Efrizaik AI, has launched a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics training program for school pupils in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

This forward-looking initiative targets students from basic to junior high school levels, providing them with foundational knowledge in AI and Robotics. With the global demand for technology-driven innovation growing rapidly, the training is designed to spark curiosity, foster creativity, and empower young learners to become digital leaders of tomorrow.

The program is spearheaded by Dr. Lovis Kwasi Armah, a PhD student at the University of Michigan, who brings both academic expertise and a deep personal connection to the community. Born and raised in Bibiani, Dr. Armah has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of technology in the United States and is committed to ensuring that Ghanaian youth are not left behind in the digital revolution.

Structured with both theoretical and hands-on components, the training enables students to explore AI and Robotics through real-world applications. This practical approach deepens understanding and cultivates innovation by allowing learners to actively engage with the tools and systems shaping the modern world.

The initiative also forms part of a broader mission to bridge the digital divide, particularly in underserved communities. Mr. Isaac Gyamfi, CEO of Efrizaik AI, emphasized that the program is designed to provide equitable access to technology for all Ghanaian children, regardless of their location.

He stressed that digital literacy and exposure to intelligent systems are now essential skills for the youth, and this program represents a vital investment in a generation that will not only consume technology but also innovate and lead with it.

Mr. Eric Boateng, the Municipal Director of Education, expressed strong support for the initiative, describing it as a timely and strategic intervention that aligns with Ghana’s national development goals. He commended the organizers for their vision and dedication to enhancing students’ competencies in Information Technology, AI, and Robotics—sectors that are key to the country’s socio-economic progress.

The ongoing program is expected to benefit a wide range of students across the municipality, marking a significant step toward equipping the youth of Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in the digital era.
