MP and DCE Commissions Completed Classroom Projects in Juaboso

The Member of Parliament for Juaboso and Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, and District Chief Executives for Juaboso Alexander Adu Quist has led commissioned three newly completed six-unit classroom blocks at Eteso, Dominebo, and Benchemaa in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region.

The projects, which were initiated nearly a decade ago, have been completed under a government directive requiring Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) to ensure the completion of stalled public infrastructure.

At the commissioning ceremony, Akandoh said the completion of the classroom blocks demonstrates the government’s commitment to ensuring value for money and the efficient use of public resources. He explained that finishing abandoned educational projects remains a key priority of the government under the leadership of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, as part of efforts to improve access to quality education and enhance learning outcomes.

The District Chief Executive for Juaboso, Alexander Adu-Quist, commended the government for prioritizing education and fulfilling its promise to the chiefs and people of Juaboso. He noted that the completion of the projects will provide safe and conducive learning environments for pupils and teachers in the beneficiary communities.

Adu-Quist also pledged the Assembly’s commitment to maintaining the facilities and ensuring their proper use. He called on community members to take collective responsibility for safeguarding the structures to serve future generations.

The event was attended by traditional leaders, officials of the Ghana Education Service (GES), assembly members, and community residents.
