The final funeral rites of the late Okyeame Kofi Nkuah, the Okyeame of the Sefwi Boinzan Divisional Council, were marked by deep emotion as his widow, Madam Patience Asante, poured out her heart in a touching tribute to her late husband.
The tribute, which was read on her behalf by Akosua Nkunimdie, captured the story of enduring love, sacrifice, and partnership that defined their 42-year marriage. Madam Asante recalled that her life took a beautiful turn the day she met her husband at Sefwi Boinzan — a meeting she described as the beginning of a lifelong blessing.
The couple later moved from Sefwi Boinzan to Bonsu Nkwanta Adamase, where they began their life together in farming. Their union was blessed with seven children, one of whom has since passed away.

In her tribute, Madam Asante described her late husband as more than a life partner — a true friend, a source of strength, and a constant comforter. Though he did not have much, she said, he always made sure her needs and those of their children were met. “If we talk about a true supporter, my husband was one,” she emphasized.
She spoke fondly of his unwavering support through every season — in times of difficulty and moments of joy alike. His love, she said, extended beyond her to their children and the entire family, remaining strong and genuine until his last breath.

Through tears, Madam Asante expressed gratitude for the many years of unity and companionship they shared, noting that their promise to stay together until death had truly been fulfilled. “Although it is painful to say goodbye,” she said, “I have faith that wherever you are, God has received you into His bosom.”

She concluded by thanking her late husband for his endless love, faithfulness, and the beautiful memories they created together. “You were not just my husband,” she said, “you were my friend, my strength, and my comfort. I will miss you forever.”

The heartfelt tribute moved many mourners to tears, as family, friends, and the people of Bonsu Nkwanta gathered to honor the life and legacy of the late Okyeame Kofi Nkuah — a man remembered for his humility, devotion, and love for his family and community.
