Mr. Vibrante Boah, popularly known as Nana1, has donated items to over 200 elderly people in Enchi in the Aowin Municipality of the Western North Region as part of his birthday celebration.
Mr. Boah, a gold buyer based in Enchi, presented various cooking items to the aged and widows in the community. The items included bags of rice, 5-litre gallons of cooking oil, tomato paste, and other essential supplies.
In addition, he selected five elderly individuals who are still capable of working and supported each of them with cash amounting to GH₵2,000.
Some beneficiaries who spoke to Legend Report expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Nana1 for the kind gesture. They noted that they never expected such support and described the donation as a great relief.
Speaking to Legend Report, Mr. Boah said he decided to celebrate his birthday with the elderly instead of keeping it to himself. According to him, supporting the aged is important because they need care and assistance to live comfortably.
He added that he selected beneficiaries from age 55 and above and donated what he could afford to support them. He also called on individuals and the public to extend support to elderly people in their communities, emphasizing that any little contribution can make a meaningful difference.
