The ARMY4KEN Sefwi Wiawso Chapter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has strongly condemned the vandalism of billboards belonging to Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s team in the Sefwi Wiawso Constituency.
In a statement, the group described the act as “nonsense, unprovoked, and irresponsible” and called for it to stop immediately. The billboards, which were mounted at Ewiase Junction a few weeks ago, were reportedly destroyed by individuals believed to be associated with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s team, ahead of his scheduled visit to the constituency.
The group lead by pious Agyapong,emphasized the importance of party unity and cohesion, particularly as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections. They warned that such actions could provoke reactions that would threaten the peace and unity of the party in the constituency.
The ARMY4KEN Sefwi Wiawso Chapter has vowed to thoroughly investigate the matter and identify those responsible for the vandalism. They reiterated their commitment to promoting a peaceful, fair, and united internal political environment in the Sefwi Wiawso constituency and the Western North region.
