The Inter-Schools Sports Competition of the Juaboso Circuit began today at the Juaboso Senior High School Park (Juasec) with great enthusiasm and participation from various schools in the area.
In preparation for the event, Juaboso School A Primary and Junior High School received valuable support from its Old Students Association. The association donated sets of jerseys, three footballs, two bags of rice, two cartons of bottled water, sachet water, assorted drinks, and other items to motivate and assist the school’s teams.
The Chairman of the Old Students Association, Mr. Simon Asanate, explained that the school is dear to the members and that they had already planned to offer assistance. Upon receiving a request from the headteacher regarding the upcoming sports festival, the association quickly mobilized resources to provide the donation. He added that the association remains committed to supporting the progress and development of the school and encouraged the students to give their best and make the school proud.
The Headteacher, Mr. Alexander Agbesi Akapo, on behalf of the management and staff, expressed deep appreciation to the Old Students Association for their timely intervention. He noted that their gesture demonstrated true love and commitment to their alma mater and called on other past students to emulate this example.
The students of Juaboso School A expressed joy and gratitude for the donation, describing it as a great motivation to perform well in the ongoing competition. The gesture, they said, has renewed their confidence and inspired them to strive for victory.
