One Dead in Dadieso Motor Accident

Western north Region

A tragic motor accident has reportedly claimed the life of a plumber identified as Efo in Dadieso, a town located in the Suaman District of the Western North Region. The incident occurred on the stretch of road near Dadieso Senior High School, a known accident-prone zone due to poor riding practices.

The accident involved two motorbikes. Efo, who was riding a motorbike with registration number M-25-AW 536, was traveling from the Nzongo area. The other rider, whose motorbike bore registration number M-23-GM-15, was also on the same road when the crash occurred. It is alleged that the second rider veered off his lane, resulting in a head-on collision between the two motorbikes.

Both riders sustained severe injuries from the impact and were rushed to the Dadieso Government Hospital by some community members who witnessed the incident. Medical staff immediately attended to both victims in an attempt to stabilize their conditions.

Due to the critical nature of his injuries, Efo was referred to a more advanced medical facility for further treatment. Sadly, despite the efforts of the medical team, he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at the second facility.

Efo was believed to be around 40 years old and was known within the community as a hardworking plumber. His sudden death has left his family and residents in deep sorrow, with many describing the incident as yet another avoidable loss resulting from reckless riding.

The second victim remains on admission at the Dadieso Government Hospital and is said to be responding to treatment. Medical personnel are closely monitoring his recovery as investigations into the accident continue.

Residents have long expressed concern about the rising cases of road accidents in Dadieso, particularly those involving motorbikes. Many riders are said to disregard basic rules, fail to wear helmets, and ride at dangerous speeds. The latest incident has renewed calls for stricter enforcement of road safety measures in the area to prevent further tragedies.
