One person has sustained injuries after a Hyundai Rhino truck collided with a faulty stationary vehicle at Bibiani in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
The incident occurred on the Bibiani–Goaso highway when a Hyundai Rhino truck with registration number AS 5632-26 crashed into a broken-down Daewoo Ultra Novus truck with registration number AC 294-24, which had been parked by the roadside.

The driver of the Rhino, Abraham Nkrumah, explained that they were travelling from Sefwi Juaboso to Kumasi when the accident happened. He indicated that he failed to detect the stationary vehicle in time, attributing it to the absence of a warning triangle or any visible signal to alert oncoming drivers.
He further noted that six persons were on board the vehicle at the time of the crash. However, only his conductor sustained injuries and was subsequently rushed to the Divine Love Hospital in Bibiani for medical attention.
