People living with disabilities and widows in the Amenfi Central Municipality have received various items and financial assistance from Two Thousand Foundation.
The foundation donated over one thousand pieces of clothing to about 400 persons with disabilities in the area. In addition, each beneficiary received bags of rice, cooking oil, and a cash envelope as part of the support package.

The donation exercise took place on December 4, 2026, at Manso Amenfi.
Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Mr. Kingsley Meriku, said the initiative was inspired by the foundation’s commitment to supporting vulnerable people in society.
He explained that disability can happen to anyone, noting that “some people who are disabled today were strong yesterday, but accidents and life circumstances can change everything.
According to Mr. Meriku, the foundation is dedicated to extending happiness and hope to those in need. He added that Thousand Foundation also supports vulnerable students by paying their school fees and is currently constructing school blocks in some local communities.

We will continue to do our best to support vulnerable people with the little resources we have,” he assured.
Some beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to the foundation for the kind gesture, saying they never expected such support.
They also appealed to other NGOs and individuals to emulate the example of Thousand Foundation and help improve their living conditions.
The Assembly Member for the Ayinabrim Electoral Area also commended the foundation for its generosity towards persons with disabilities.

He urged community members not to discriminate against people with disabilities but rather show them love, care, and inclusion in their daily lives.
