Western North
Heema, the proud representative of the Western North Region in the 2025 edition of Ghana’s Most Beautiful, hails from Sefwi Awaso in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality. Born into the Islamic faith as Reheematu Sumaila, she embodies the values of discipline, cultural pride, and female empowerment that define the spirit of the pageant.
Her academic journey began at Sefwi Awaso Sound Foundation, where she completed both her basic and junior high school education. She continued to Kumasi Anglican Senior High School and later pursued tertiary education at KAAF University College. Currently, she is fulfilling her national service duties at Achimota Government Hospital in Accra, combining her passion for healthcare and community service.

Throughout her educational life, Heema displayed exemplary leadership. She served as the Senior Girls’ Prefect during the 2015–2016 academic year in junior high school. At senior high, she was elected Vice President of the Red Cross Association from 2018 to 2019. Her leadership journey continued at the university level, where she held the roles of PUSAG Secretary and Women’s Commissioner (WOCOM) Secretary from 2022 to 2023.
In addition to her academic and leadership achievements, Heema has also made her mark in the world of pageantry. In 2021, she won both the Face of KAAF and Miss Tourism titles, a testament to her grace, intelligence, and advocacy. Her victories reflect her deep commitment to promoting tourism, culture, and women’s rights in her region.
Driven by a passion to make a difference, she founded the De Heema Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering young women in the Western North Region. The foundation donates free sanitary pads and exercise books to female students and educates adolescent girls on menstrual hygiene and personal development.

Representing the Western North Region in Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2025, Heema is poised to showcase the rich cultural heritage of her people while championing the role of women in national development. The pageant provides a national platform for young women to express their values, talents, and visions for change, and Heema is determined to make her region proud.
She has already been recognized for her excellence and impact, having been named the Kivo Woman of the Week. As the competition progresses, she calls on the good people of the Western North Region and all Ghanaians to support her journey with their votes and encouragement.
