The Member of Parliament for the Sefwi Akontombra Constituency, Pious Nkuah, has called on Ghanaians to reflect on the country’s progress and renew their commitment to national development as the nation celebrates its.

In a message to mark the occasion, Mr. Nkuah congratulated the people of Ghana on the milestone and praised the sacrifices made by the country’s founding fathers and past leaders whose efforts led to the attainment of independence on March 6, 1957.
He noted that the independence of Ghana remains a symbol of hope and self-determination not only for Ghanaians but also for many African countries that later followed the path to freedom. He emphasized that the legacy of the country’s independence must inspire citizens to work harder toward building a stronger and more prosperous nation.
The MP urged citizens, particularly the youth, to embrace discipline, unity, and patriotism in order to safeguard the gains of independence. According to him, the future of the country depends largely on the commitment of young people to contribute positively to national development.
Mr. Nkuah also reaffirmed his dedication to the development of communities within the Sefwi Akontombra Constituency. He said he remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote education, infrastructure development, and economic empowerment for the people.
