In a bold move aimed at stimulating local economic growth and job creation, the Member of Parliament for Sefwi Wiawso Constituency, Mr. kofi Afful Benteh has announced the transformation of the Sefwi Asawinso market into a 24-hour economic hub.
This ambitious project is being undertaken under the visionary leadership of H.E. John Dramani Mahama and is expected to significantly boost business activity and improve infrastructure in the region. The transformation will include a major rebuild of the market, featuring modern facilities designed to support round-the-clock trading.
According to the Benteh, the upgraded market will not only enhance economic activity but also create numerous employment opportunities, especially for youth and women in the constituency. The initiative also aims to attract more investors and traders to the area, fostering sustainable development.
