Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Sehwi Juaboso Constituency have thrown their full support behind former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, declaring that he remains the best choice to lead the party into the 2028 general elections.
Their endorsement was made during Dr. Bawumia’s visit to Juaboso as part of his tour in the Western North Region. The tour aims to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures and energise members ahead of the January 31 presidential primaries.
The engagement drew party executives, opinion leaders, and a large crowd of enthusiastic supporters who praised Dr. Bawumia for his humility, innovative leadership, and contributions to national development. Many credited him for spearheading Ghana’s digital transformation, implementing key economic reforms, and promoting social intervention programmes that have improved the lives of citizens.
The delegates emphasised that Dr. Bawumia’s record in government, combined with his unifying leadership style, positions him as the most capable candidate to lead the NPP into the next election cycle.
Dr. Bawumia, in turn, expressed gratitude to the delegates for their unwavering support and assured them of his continued commitment to party unity and national progress. He urged members to remain focused, united, and dedicated to ensuring victory for the NPP in 2028.
