There were emotional scenes at Bonsu Nkwanta as popular disc jockey, Shadrach Nkuah, affectionately known as DJ Shankus, could not hold back his tears while bidding a final farewell to his late father, Okyeame Kofi Nkuah.
The late Okyeame Kofi Nkuah, who served as the Okyeame for the Sefwi Boinzan Divisional Council, passed away on March 22, 2025. He was widely admired for his humility, care, and dedication to both his family and the community.
Family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to pay their last respects as DJ Shankus was visibly overcome with emotion upon seeing his father’s face for the last time before the casket was closed.
In tears, DJ Shankus recalled his father’s fatherly love, guidance, and support throughout his life. Those close to the family described the late Okyeame Kofi Nkuah as a man who valued peace, unity, and kindness — traits that earned him deep respect across the Bonsu Nkwanta area.
The final funeral rites drew mourners from far and near, who came together to celebrate the life of a man whose legacy of love and service will continue to live on in the hearts of many.
