SPEECH BY PROPHET DR. WISDOM AHA ON 7Th ANNIVERSARY AND REGIONAL IMPACT SUMMiT

I am deeply honored and humbled to be part of this historic gathering, the 7th Anniversary and Regional Impact Summit organized by SefwiNews. I commend the visionaries behind this platform for consistently shaping narratives, amplifying local voices, and championing development in the Western North Region.

Today, we are not just celebrating an anniversary; we are celebrating impact, responsibility, and the power of media to transform a people.

The theme before us, “Leading the Western North Media Revolution,” is timely and prophetic. Media is no longer just about reporting events; it is about shaping consciousness, influencing policy, preserving culture, and driving development.
Whoever controls the narrative controls the direction of progress.

As a region richly endowed with cocoa, gold, timber, and human capital, the Western North should not still be pleading for attention.

Yet, for years, our contributions to national development have not been matched with equitable investment in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and youth empowerment.

This gap exists partly because our stories have not been told boldly, consistently, and strategically.
This is where the media comes in.

A strong regional media does three critical things:

It gives voice to the voiceless.

It holds leadership accountable.

It projects the true image and potential of its people.

When the media is silent, injustice thrives. When the media is compromised, development is delayed. But when the media is courageous, ethical, and visionary, society progresses.

As a man of God and a development advocate, I believe the media must not only inform but transform. Our platforms must promote truth over propaganda, development over division, and unity over sensationalism.

The Western North media revolution must be rooted in integrity, purpose, and regional pride.
Let me say this clearly: we do not need to beg for development, we need to demand it intelligently.

Through strong media advocacy, policy engagement, and community participation, we can reposition the Western North as a region that is not only resource-rich but development-driven.

To our young journalists, content creators, broadcasters, and digital influencers:
You are not just media practitioners—you are nation builders. Use your voice wisely. Use your platforms responsibly.

Let your work speak for the people who cannot access the microphone.

To SefwiNews and partners, I say: keep pushing boundaries. Keep telling our stories. Keep holding power accountable.

History will remember you as architects of a regional awakening.

In conclusion, the Western North deserves better—and the media must lead that charge. Let us commit ourselves to a media revolution that enlightens minds, empowers communities, and accelerates development.

Thank you for the honor.

God bless SefwiNews.
God bless the Western North Region.
And God bless our beloved Ghana.
