Three Decades On: Amass ’95 Alumni Reunite to Uplift Alma Mater

The 1995 batch of Amaniampong Senior High School (formerly Amaniampong Senior Secondary School) is set to donate over 70 Graph Boards to their alma mater as part of their 30th anniversary celebration.

The program, scheduled for July 4-6, 2025, will feature a donation ceremony, health walk, talk, Thanksgiving service, and dinner. The anniversary initiative is spearheaded by Mr. Richard Asare (Apicom), the current President of the Association and his Executives, as part of their constitutional mandate, is expected to bring together alumni from various backgrounds, including academics, politicians, Security personnel, civil servants, business leaders, reverend ministers, and more.

The initiator of Great Amass ’95 and the first president of the Association Mr.
Emmanuel Wiafe, aka Sakasaka, an Assistant Prefect during their time at the school, is set to honour this event from the USA as a fulfilment of his aspiration. He founded a WhatsApp group a few years ago, which has grown to over 60 members, comprising General Arts, Home Economics, and Science students.
Mr. William Yeboah, who resides in France, also became the President for two terms. The association is now under the leadership of Senior. Apicom who lives between Ghana and USA.

The alumni are excited to reunite and give back to their school, with many travelling from abroad to participate in the celebration. The event promises to be a memorable occasion, marking three decades since the class of 1995 graduated from Amaniampong Senior High School.
