It has been about a week that legendreport, reported that twin brothers had allegedly beaten a 34-year-old man to death at Sefwi Boinzan in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region.
After the incident, the suspects went into hiding, prompting an intensive search by community members, the police, and the local Assembly Member.

The twin brothers, identified as Atta Kofi and Ebi Wom, allegedly assaulted Theophilus Gyamfi, also known as Kwasi KK. Reports indicate that the incident occurred after the victim went to wash what was described as “gold” in a river within the community.
While Gyamfi was washing, one of the twins reportedly warned him to stop, claiming that his activity was polluting the water. The victim refused, leading to a heated argument. The situation escalated when the second twin joined in, resulting in a physical confrontation.

The twins allegedly beat Gyamfi severely. He was first taken home for treatment, but due to the seriousness of his injuries, his family decided to rush him to the Juaboso Government Hospital.
Sadly, he was pronounced dead on the way.

The suspects fled the community but were later arrested. They have since been charged with murder and remanded into police custody to reappear in court on February 9, 2026.
