The Member of Parliament for Sefwi Wiawso, Kofi Benteh Afful, has renovated the Sefwi Asawinso school ‘B’ block to improve education in the area.
The school block was previously in a dilapidated state, which was negatively affecting teaching and learning activities in the school.
Its poor condition posed a serious danger, as parents, teachers, and pupils feared for their safety whenever they accessed the classrooms.
During the 2024 campaign, Kofi Benteh promised the people of Asawinso that, if voted into power, he would ensure that school infrastructure in the area is improved.
True to his promise, the MP has now rehabilitated the school block using his share of the MP’s Common Fund.
The people of Asawinso have expressed their excitement and appreciation to the MP for honoring his commitment to the community.
