Mr. Bright Nkuah, Western North Regional Director of the National Service Authority, has urged young people to take responsibility for building their future through education, integrity, and service. He made the call when he addressed participants at a Youth Empowerment Program where he served as the special guest.

Speaking on the theme “Empowering Youth for a Brighter Future,” Mr. Nkuah emphasized that young people represent the strength, energy, and creativity of the nation. He stressed that potential alone is not enough unless it is nurtured through knowledge, skills, opportunities, and a sense of responsibility.
He noted that empowering the youth is not only the duty of individuals but also a collective effort of the community. According to him, mentorship, encouragement, and supportive structures are essential in harnessing the talents of young people for both personal and community development.

Drawing from his own experiences, Mr. Nkuah highlighted how his journey as a teacher shaped his conviction that the true wealth of any society lies in its youth. Now serving as the Regional Director of the National Service Authority, he reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that young people are equipped for the future.
Mr. Nkuah encouraged the youth to take their education seriously, remain disciplined, and uphold integrity and hard work as tools for lasting success. He further urged them to see service to their communities as a foundation for true leadership.

The program brought together community leaders, stakeholders, and young people from across the region, with discussions centered on building a brighter future through youth empowerment.
