Alhaji Yakubu Innusah Akudbilah has officially picked his nomination form to contest the position of Western North Regional Nzongo Caucus Coordinator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The development marks his decision to seek another term in office, having served as the incumbent Nzongo Caucus Coordinator in the Western North Region.
Alhaji Yakubu Innusah Akudbilah picked the nomination form on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, as preparations continue towards the NDC’s internal elections.
His decision to contest again means he will be seeking the support of delegates as he attempts to retain the position and continue his leadership of the Nzongo Caucus in the region.
The Nzongo Caucus forms part of the structures within the NDC, with its activities focusing on mobilising and coordinating members within the caucus to support the party’s organisational and political activities.
The upcoming contest is therefore expected to attract attention among members and delegates as the party prepares for its internal elections in the Western North Region. Alhaji Yakubu Innusah Akudbilah’s decision to seek another term adds to the developing competition for regional positions.
