The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Aowin, Stephen Morcher, has stated that the government of President John Dramani Mahama has been good to the people of the Aowin Municipality through the implementation of key development projects.

Speaking at the commissioning of the NDC party office at Abochia in the Aowin Constituency, Mr. Morcher said no government under the Fourth Republic has delivered as many development projects to the municipality as the Mahama administration.
He highlighted the government’s flagship Big Push road programme, under which two major road projects the Enchi–Elluibo Road and the Nyankamum Pekyi Road are currently under construction. He also mentioned the construction of CHPS compounds to improve access to quality healthcare, as well as investments in educational infrastructure and other development initiatives.

The MCE assured residents that the Mahama government remains committed to doing more to improve the living conditions of the people of Aowin. He urged residents to continue supporting the government’s development agenda.

Meanwhile, Desmond Amoah, who financed the construction of the party office, expressed his delight at the successful completion of the project. He said the new office will provide a permanent venue for meetings, strengthen party activities, and promote unity among NDC members in the Achimfo Electoral Area.
