Mandem Yopic Remembers His Roots with Cultural and Talents Tour in Western North

Ghanaian musician Mandem Yopic, who traces his roots to Sefwi Wiawso in the Western North Region, has returned to his roots with an initiative aimed at promoting the region’s culture and nurturing the talents of young people.

The musician has embarked on a Cultural and Talents Tour across Senior High Schools (SHSs) in the Western North Region to showcase the talents of students while helping them understand the importance of Sefwi culture and how their cultural heritage can contribute to shaping their future dreams.

The tour began at Sefwi Wiawso Senior High School (SEWASS), where students welcomed Mandem Yopic with excitement. His performance and interaction with the students created a memorable experience for the school community.

The initiative has also received support from the Member of Parliament for the Sefwi Wiawso Constituency, Kofi Afful Benteh, and other opinion leaders who have joined the call to promote culture and support the development of young talents in the region.

Recognition also goes to the Western North Regional Education Directorate for its support towards the initiative.

Mandem Yopic’s Cultural and Talents Tour seeks to encourage young people to appreciate their roots, embrace their cultural identity and develop their talents as they pursue their dreams.
