The Western North Regional Minister, Wilbert Petty Brentum has embarked on a tour within the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality to inspect ongoing projects.
Communities and projects within the Municipality that were graced by this ministerial tour are: Pewode3’s six unit classroom block, Kokokrom’s six unit classroom block and Offices, Nyamendaye’s three units classroom,Kojina Essakrom’s health Centre with accommodation,Keteboe’s CHIP compound and finally to the Municipal Maternity block.
Speaking to the media, Brentum mentioned that,the maternity block has been abandoned since 2013 but currently he can confirm that it’s about completion to serve the people He again stressed that,the facility is a 25 -bed capacity with a state of the arts equipment to meet various maternity needs at the hospital.
Generally,the minister appreciated the contractors for their exceptional delivery on the various projects.
Prior to this tour,the minister had toured the Bia East,Bia West,Aowin,Suaman districts to carry out similar oversight duties.
Brentum, conclusively emphasized that, comparing work done in the various districts and the Municipality he has visited so far within the region. He can say Western North Region is on course.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Dominic Gyasi also ceased the opportunity to express his gratitude to the regional minister and his team for the enormous support in making these projects come in to fruition.
