Big Push Project: Western North Regional Minister Commends Big Aidoo Construction Limited for Quality Work

The Western North Regional Minister, Wilbert Petty Brentum, has commended Big Aidoo Construction Limited for the quality of work being carried out on the Pekyi Junction–Kudjour Abotare road under the government’s Big Push initiative.

The Minister praised the contractor after inspecting the project alongside the Western North Regional Director of Roads and Highways, who briefed him on the scope of work and the project’s progress.

Mr. Brentum expressed satisfaction with the quality of the drainage systems, earthworks, and the cutting and shaping of hills to improve accessibility along the road. He noted that the contractor had demonstrated professionalism and commitment in executing the project and encouraged the company to maintain the high standard of work.

The Chief Executive Officer of Big Aidoo Construction Limited, Michael Aidoo, thanked the Minister for his commendation and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering a quality project.

He stated that the company has adequate logistics, experienced engineers, and dedicated staff to ensure the successful execution of the project. According to him, the government has also released funds for the project, enabling the company to work without major financial constraints.

Mr. Aidoo disclosed that the company expects to begin laying bitumen on the road by September if work continues as scheduled.

Big Aidoo Construction Limited is constructing the 32-kilometre Lot 1 section of the Pekyi Junction–Kudjour Abotare road in the Western North Region under the government’s Big Push road infrastructure programme.
