It would be recalled that about a week ago, Legendreport, reported that nearly half of Juaboso Township had been without electricity for close to two months.
The power outage followed an afternoon thunderstorm which destroyed the main transformer supplying electricity to that part of the town. The situation severely affected businesses and daily activities of many residents.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Juaboso, Alexander Adu Quist, earlier assured residents that a new transformer would be installed to resolve the crisis.
Today, May 3, 2026, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has successfully installed a new transformer, restoring power supply to the affected areas.
Residents have expressed their gratitude to ECG for the swift intervention. They also commended the DCE, Alexander Adu Quist, for his leadership and commitment in ensuring the issue was addressed.
