NGO which is into rural development initiatives set to ttain 20 people in Juaboso District to provide 4,000 reusable sanitary pads for student between the age between 10 to 17 years in Juaboso District.

According the manging Director for Rural development focus, Mr justice Per said the NGO is set to train 20 people to provide 4,000 reusable sanitary pads for female student in Juaboso District.
He said most of the female school going some absent from school during menstrual period because their family are not able to afford sanitary pad for them because of Finance contress.
This is affecting girl child education and bredge the cap they are training 20 people who can provide more 4,000 female students in the district so that can go to school during menstrual periods.

He said that this sanitary pads aprov and accept by the relavatent authorities and can be use without any nagetive effect after use.
Mrs Hannah Ennin who is girl child coordinator of Ghana Education Service Juaboso District said this initiative will help to stop absent of female students from at their menstrual sessions.
She said most female students don’t come to school because they families don’t have money to afford the sanitary pads for them.

She said although the government is providing some to the school but with support of the NGO help allot and improve girl child education in the district.
