Legendreport.com has honoured the leader of the Western North Journalists Association and General Manager of De Beat FM, Mr. Pollo Edusei Esposito, for his outstanding contribution to the development of the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality and the Western North Region through journalism.
The citation was presented by the Managing Director of Legendreport.com, Emmanuel Sowah, in recognition of Mr. Esposito’s years of service to the people of the municipality and the region through professional and ethical journalism.
Mr. Esposito,has used his platform to highlight developmental challenges, provide constructive criticism and draw the attention of authorities to issues affecting communities.
According to Mr. Sowah, the contribution of experienced journalists such as Mr. Esposito must be recognised while they are alive rather than waiting until after their death.
He said Mr. Esposito’s commitment to journalism had made a significant impact on the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality and the wider Western North Region.
Mr. Sowah also commended him for nurturing young and aspiring journalists and helping them understand the principles of ethical and responsible journalism.
Pollo has played an important role in the development of the Western North Region through his commitment to ethical journalism. His contribution deserves recognition, Mr. Sowah said.
He congratulated Mr. Esposito and encouraged him to continue mentoring young talents and guiding them to become responsible and professional journalists.
